Microseismic monitoring is divided into two types: the downhole monitoring and the surface monitoring. The characteristics of the downhole monitoring are that it can provide more accurate depth information of the seismic sources, however, because of the lack of geophones, the lateral resolution is low. On the contrary, surface monitoring can provide high lateral resolution with many geophones, but the vertical resolution is very low. In order to locate the event location more accurate, it is necessary to determine whether the downhole and surface seismic records come from the same microseismic event. In order to solve this problem, we pick up the characteristics of microseismic records observed by the downhole and surface observation systems with the convolution neural network and scan the synthetic seismic records with sliding window. We filter out the window with no or incomplete waveform, and classify the window with complete waveform. The synthetic tests show that this method can recognize the same microseismic event.
