个人简介

周鑫,男,特任教授,博士生导师。籍贯:安徽省萧县。2004年毕业于西安交通大学,2007年于中国科学院地球环境研究所获硕士学位,2010年于中国科学院地质与地球物理研究所获博士学位。2018年获国家自然科学基金委优秀青年基金资助,中国科学院青年创新促进会会员(2018)。

主要从事晚第四纪气候变化与人类活动研究。在轨道时间尺度上,发现东亚季风区全新世植被适宜期的开始时间逐渐北推,纬度越高适宜期发生时间越晚,揭示这一现象可能与夏季风降雨峰值推进到某一纬度所处月份的太阳辐射变化有关;在千百年尺度上,发现江淮地区小冰期相对中世纪暖期降水增加,揭示热带太平洋海温通过西太副高等对该区域降水的影响;在年代际尺度上,发现北黄海西部泥质沉积物可用于东亚夏季风降水重建,为东亚夏季风强度的重建提供了新材料。

已发表论著60余篇,其中SCI论文50余篇,第一和通讯作者SCI论文20余篇。
